Volumetric Laboratory

The capacity of volume is defined as the volume of water at 20ºC and is expressed in millilitres (or cm3). The common gravimetric method is used to determine volume. SMSB are capable to calibrate equipments such as the pH meter, conductivity meter, viscometer, viscotester, refractometer, ford cup, zahn cup and sg cup by using high purity International Standard Solution.

OUR STANDARDS REFERENCES

SMSB maintains a high resolution up to 0.1mg comparator balance to perform the volume measurement.

TRACEABILITY

The comparator balance is traceable to our OIML E2 class standard weight, which is traced to the National Metrology Laboratory, Malaysia (NML). (Download Traceability Chart)
